The First United Methodist Church main building. The current sanctuary (left side of the picture above)
was built in
the 1950s. The original sanctuary, built in the 1860s and still used as a meeting room today,
is hidden behind the tree at the far right. The newest part of the building, added in 2002,
is in the center foreground.

The Methodist Family Life Center, directly across the street from the main building, was
constructed in 2002. It houses a large multi-purpose room that serves as a gymnasium, fellowship hall,
and program room. A commercial kitchen is adjacent. Smaller meeting rooms are used for Sunday School,
youth groups, and community activities. The MFLC also houses the United Methodist preschool.
